Ginger Baker
Campus Executive Director
Ginger Baker oversees day-to-day operations of the Hayes Barton Place campus, with a focus on Bloomsbury at Hayes Barton Place. She has been a nurse since 1995 and holds dual master’s degrees in Nursing and Healthcare Administration. A Certified Dementia Practitioner, she provides guidance to the memory support unit. She loves spending time with her husband, Bruce, their children, grandson, and their many pets. Her family enjoys beach time at their Myrtle Beach condo, traveling, and pageantry, where she has coached, judged, and directed since 2008. Ginger also volunteers with Victory Junction, raising over $50,000 for children.
Sam Murray
Independent Living Executive Director
Sam Murray oversees day-to-day operations for Hayes Barton Place in the role of Independent Living Executive Director. Sam is a native of Durham, North Carolina and a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Sam began his career in the senior living industry while finishing college as a dining room server. Following graduation, he spent time as a Food & Beverage Manager and Marketing Director before moving to Apex, North Carolina in 2018 to become an Independent Living Executive Director. Sam’s commitment to exceeding the expectations for customer service, resident care, and employee satisfaction at Hayes Barton Place is aligned with Liberty Senior Living’s mission.
Donna McCaskill
Independent Living Senior Residency Counselor
Donna McCaskill is the Senior Residency Counselor of Independent Living at Hayes Barton Place. A University of North Carolina Chapel Hill graduate with a BS in Business Administration, Donna brings over 20 years of sales experience, including 13 in senior living. She has been a Raleigh resident for over 35 years and is active in White Memorial Presbyterian Church and The Junior League of Raleigh. Donna enjoys time with her children and grandchildren and is honored to be part of Hayes Barton Place and guiding older adults through the move to a senior living community.
Ann Janvier
Independent Living Move-In Coordinator
Ann Janvier attended Saint Mary’s School and Broughton High before earning her BA from Pine Manor College and MS from UNC Chapel Hill. She previously worked in sales at The Cardinal at North Hills. Ann enjoys spending time with her husband, Bill, and their four children in Maine, New Orleans, and sailing in Oriental, NC. A Hayes Barton native, she cherishes memories of walking Oberlin Road to Daniels Junior High. She is thrilled to be part of Hayes Barton Place and its vibrant community in the heart of Raleigh.
Terree Montgomery
Independent Living Move-In Coordinator
Terree, a Knoxville native, earned her Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Tennessee. She has lived in Raleigh for 30 years and previously worked as the Marketing Coordinator at The Cypress of Raleigh. An active member of White Memorial Presbyterian Church, she volunteers with local nonprofits. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, needlepoint, reading, and walking the greenway with her three children. Terree enjoys being a part of the Hayes Barton Place team and assisting new residents in their move to this Life Plan Community.
Caroline Bruffey
Sales and Marketing Director at Bloomsbury at Hayes Barton Place
Caroline Bruffey, a University of Mississippi graduate in Integrated Marketing Communications, has four years of experience in senior living. Now in Raleigh, she leads as Sales and Marketing Director for Assisted Living and Memory Support at Bloomsbury at Hayes Barton Place. Passionate about helping families navigate care options, she ensures a smooth transition for loved ones. Dedicated to creating a supportive environment, Caroline takes pride in providing families with confidence and peace of mind.
Jesseca Holmes
Director of Nursing at Bloomsbury at Hayes Barton Place
Jesseca Holmes, Director of Nursing at Bloomsbury at Hayes Barton Place, brings over 20 years of healthcare experience with a focus on clinical excellence and compassionate leadership. She began as a CNA in the 1990s, became an LPN in 2003, an RN in 2008, and earned her BSN in 2013. A sci-fi and fantasy fan, Jesseca enjoys reading and attending fan conventions. Her passion for both nursing and creativity makes her a dynamic leader with a unique perspective.
